Mardi Gras Parade is now rescheduled for Tuesday, March 10

After discussions between the Clarendon Alliance and the Arlington County Special Events Committee, the decision has been made to reschedule the Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade for Tuesday, March 10, at 8pm.  The Clarendon Alliance has polled all of its parade registrants, and that date was available to more than 70 percent of them.

The CA is re-opening Parade registrations to new entrants through COB March 4.  If you or your group want to have a fun Tuesday and promote your business or group, you should consider participating in our parade.  There basically are no rules–if it’s “legal”, it’s OK by us.

The CA is also asking participants who registered for the February 17 parade to Re-Register, so we can create a new list of participants.  Staging instructions will be sent on Friday, March 6.

The CA’s long-term weather prediction for Tuesday, March 10, BTW, is clear with highs in the mid-50’s. Please join us on March 10 for a fun Clarendon tradition–the Mardi Gras Parade!
