The 17th Annual Clarendon Day has a more of everything in 2014! In the morning, runners of all ages can participate in the Pacer’s 10k/5k/Kids Dash. When the Clarendon Festival starts at 11am, music-lovers can listen to great bands all day for free. We’ll be adding a Bluegrass Stage to the Clarendon Chili Cookoff site, and Amber Rubarth is slated to headline the Highland Street Main Stage. We’ll have a wide range of performers at the Clarendon Park Stage, while young local musical talent is featured on the Clarendon Boulevard Stage. And maybe more.
Kids o can climb, play, and enjoy the Kids Zone, where we’ll have face-painting, story telling, and maybe even some magic at the kid’s stage.
Scores of the best Arts and Crafts Vendors in the region will be at Clarendon Day to showcase their talents, and more than a dozen local restaurants will be offering a wide range of delicious food. And best of all, we’ve changed our event layout to make it easier for people to find the cold beverages of their choice at Clarendon Day 2014!
Clarendon Day 2014 will run from 11am-5pm on Saturday, September 27, and you’d be missing something if you didn’t come by.
Clarendon Day is a celebration of the Clarendon neighborhood, and a showcase for the people who make our neighborhood great. Be sure to stop by and meet your friends on Saturday, September 27, at the Clarendon Metro.
P.S. Dogs are welcome.
